The Ryokan was outstanding, offering a full experience with new‑look Yukata, geta, and onsen; the spacious room and friendly staff made it comfortable even for non‑Japanese speakers, and the Kiseki meal was probably the best I’ve ever had—nothing was lacking.

When the first room we were given showed an unsightly view of a chimney and some technical ductwork, the staff quickly arranged a different room for us within about fifteen minutes; the onsen was fantastic, the bedding felt very comfortable, and the room was surprisingly spacious for a Japanese property. Having to switch rooms because the original one offered such a poor view was disappointing, especially after booking six months in advance.

The rooms are very nice and very clean, very well equipped, and the ryokans are beautiful. Breakfast must be pre‑ordered the evening before early enough; we arrived around 10:00 pm and asked for breakfast the next morning, but they said it was too late and breakfast could no longer be booked for the next day, which was quite a bummer.
