“Excellent location for dining and exploring North (Camden, trails) & South (Rockport, Lighthouses)”
The place was clean with charming décor and a complimentary breakfast; the desk manager gave great restaurant tips—Archers on the Pier (Rockport) and The Waterfront (Camden) were hits. The bed felt a bit too firm and the toilet paper was single‑ply rough, plus there was no Kuerig or coffee pot in the room (though one was free in the lobby).
“We liked Camden but found it too far from Acadia and other sights.”
The breakfast was decent and the rooms stayed tidy, but there were no elevators, a strong chlorine scent from the indoor pool drifted through the hallway, and the overall property looked dated and in need of a refresh.
“Good to stay if you dont mind driving places”
The hot tub was great and the spot was quiet—Claws nearby in Rockport (by car) was excellent. The only downside is that no restaurants are within walking distance.

The cottage sits on the edge of a forest and looks very nice; the double bed is super comfy. There’s a small playground for kids and board games available in the breakfast lounge. Outside, on the back side, there are tables for outdoor breakfast and a grill. A large supermarket is just a few steps across the street. However, the cottage feels a bit old‑fashioned and many details are noticeably worn. The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and the sheets were ripped in several places. Even though it’s close to the road, the place is quiet enough for light sleepers. Breakfast is very limited, with little variety and low quality, and there’s no hot milk even after asking.
