“Lovely stay at Patan House”

The location was really nice and the building had a beautiful traditional look, with a quiet room and strong hot shower pressure; the staff were friendly and helpful and the room had good amenities. I did have a front and rear balcony, but neither was comfortable to sit on—the front one was tiny, right next to the AC unit, and shaded by other windows, though it did get sunshine; the rear was larger and quieter but shaded and directly across from someone else’s window, so both felt a bit exposed and I barely used them. The only other minor downside was that breakfast was a short 5‑minute walk away, but it had a lovely garden atmosphere that I enjoyed.

I want to thank the staff for making my friend’s stay so lovely; the receptionist was sweet to my friend with Autism, who can’t stay still for long and tends to wander, and she was welcoming and even showed him where the shops were so he could buy items without fearing a dog around the corner. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with the best shower we’ve had on the trip, and the rooms looked luxurious; they’re on the square so I expected noise, but we all slept well. The hotel has old, narrow steps, so be aware if you’re tall like my friend. Communication was brilliant and they were super helpful in every aspect. I highly recommend this place and would stay again in a heartbeat.

My room was spacious enough for my needs, and the breakfast was delicious. However, I was a bit disappointed with the room service, which didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, it was an average stay, but with some room for improvement.

I was quite disappointed with the hotel's breakfast offerings. Although the hotel itself had a charming atmosphere, the breakfast was a letdown. The spread was limited and lacked variety, which made it a less-than-ideal start to my day.

I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's location and the overall maintenance of the facility. However, I did find it odd that there were no hangers in the closet, which made it difficult to hang my clothes. The location was perfect, and the facility was well-maintained, but this small oversight detracted from my experience.
