Exceptional welcome! Very clean. The room was very comfortable with wall-mounted air conditioning. The homemade breakfasts were good, with a wide choice on request included. The outdoor pool is great, and it’s within walking distance of many restaurants, sodas, a convenience store, bakery, café, fruit shop, and pharmacy. The Carillo beach is magnificent 😍. The street is a bit busy, but there were no problems at night (the room is well soundproofed).

Dennis and Karina are wonderful hosts, giving us a warm and pleasant home‑like feeling and helping with everything we asked for. The hotel is small, with a nice pool, in a perfect location at Carillo. The breakfast is tasty and filling. We loved everything.

We chose Playa Carillo over Samara and it turned out to be a great decision; the hotel is quiet, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the outdoor area is lovely. Denis and Carrie were wonderful hosts who treated our kids kindly and made us feel at home. Every morning the breakfast was made to order and delicious. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk away and absolutely gorgeous, and if you prefer not to drive into Samara, there are a few restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. Nothing to complain about.
