Dinner was very good, served buffet style with a generous selection. Everything else was fine.

I arrived around 5 pm, and my room wasn’t ready after a 100 km bike ride. I was told to wait and could go to the bar for a drink or soup. When I asked for a glass of water, the waiter said they didn’t have it. I asked for tap water, he replied no. Finally he agreed to bring water, which took about 10 minutes, while the reception lady came because she had a room for me. I got a room that received direct sunlight all day and was right in front of the outdoor bar. The quiet location I had booked with a forest view was definitely not what I got. At dinner, the same waiter at reception greeted me kindly but was unhappy with my footwear; I was wearing slippers. He mentioned “your footwear” several times, then asked what was wrong with my slippers, saying I couldn’t enter the restaurant in them. I wasn’t the only one wearing slippers, and no dress code was posted. I didn’t even have normal shoes, I told him, and he replied, “I’m also from Spain and had nothing with me because I couldn’t afford it.” He then escorted four other people waiting behind me to their tables and left me standing. That was condescending, rude, and very unprofessional. He probably also spit on my ordered soda‑lemon, which I left standing. I will definitely not stay here again.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, the large pool had a pleasant water temperature, the rooms were spacious, and the staff were very accommodating. The bus stop was right in front of the building, and the guest card was free. It was a perfect stay!
