“ce gerant nous a mis tres mal à l'aise et l'hotel horrible.”

Nothing positive. The hotel manager’s reception was very unpleasant, insolent, and disrespectful; no help or information, and he forced us into a different, far‑away, very noisy room than the one booked online. In the room there was a kettle, a few tea bags, no coffee, an empty minibar, no bottled water, no mugs, only plastic glasses for two while we were three. When we asked for coffee packets, he replied, “Go buy them yourself! It’s not my problem!” in a vulgar, insulting tone. Very disappointed with the hotel, but not with Italy—quite a shame.

The large, comfortable bed, location, blackout curtains, and a fridge—though the narrow “panel” can hold small bottles, yogurt, and a sandwich—were all good. They called me on my regular phone for clarifications while I was roaming, even though they had my WhatsApp. There’s no full‑length mirror, only a bathroom mirror that doesn’t show a full outfit (important for girls when packing). The fridge is very small, but better than none. There was a kettle and tea bags, but the espresso cups were tiny. Cleaning only involved trash removal and making the bed; my hair stayed on the floor and elsewhere, so it remained there. Towels and pastel sheets oddly smelled like vinegar, so I had to breathe them in—terrible. The lift was very narrow and old, but better than none in this historic building.

The place was fine, but it was very noisy—couldn't sleep because of the road traffic, and there was no toilet paper in the room.
