The stay was wonderful, and the staff—especially Steve—were very nice, polite, and helpful. It’s a 15‑minute walk to all the main temples in Varanasi and just a 2‑minute walk to the Ghats, making it worth the money. I’ll recommend this property to friends planning a Varanasi visit.

The room was fine with air conditioning and breakfast was acceptable. However, the neighbourhood was not good, and the host would source anything you need but at a ridiculously high cost. I left after two days because I got sick of being ripped off.

The staff are always willing to help, and the rooms are clean. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Sakka Ghat.

A lot of delicious street food was just a short walk away, and the rooftop terrace overlooking the ghat and the river was the perfect spot to dine. The room was comfortable and relaxing; although there were no windows to the outside, a balcony provided light and ventilation. All fittings and furnishings were of very good quality and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The photo on the website had no discernible relation to the hotel, and a number of very negative reviews nearly scared me away from booking, but they certainly did not reflect our very positive experience there!

This is my third stay here. Located only feet from the river in a safe neighbourhood, it is modest but clean, comfy, and very, very quiet. I look forward to returning.
