The location is good and central. The carpet has many dirty spots.

I was told at check‑in that housekeeping came every other day, but I never saw them. The bathroom was very dirty. I called for towels and was told they were going to send some up. My husband ended up going down to get some. My husband and granddaughter went down for breakfast and ended up paying for it; I was told nothing was free. This was our first time in Canada visiting family, so I’ll have to do better research next time.

The front desk people were warm and made check‑in a breeze, and the room itself was pleasant with a really comfy bed. Unfortunately, the housekeeping schedule they promised didn’t happen – on the second night the room wasn’t tidied, we only got bath towels, no hand towels, face cloths or a bath mat, and the sheets stayed the same. When we raised the issue they handed us fresh sheets and said we’d have to change them ourselves, which felt off for the price we paid.

The hotel’s location is spot on, but we ran into a string of basic issues. We asked for towels for three people at check‑in and still hadn’t gotten any by early afternoon the next day, even though someone on our floor had towels. The pull‑out couch arrived without any sheets; after calling the desk we got one sheet, but when we asked for a second they said there were none and never came back.
