The lakeside inn run by Mr. Asano and his wife was very comfortable, with an excellent spot and lake‑view rooms; a few minutes' walk along the lake leads to the Lawson and bus stop at Lake Hakuba. The dishes are the real highlight, with breakfast and dinner carefully prepared and the ingredients and cooking very refined.
