The Pier Hotel in Sai Kung offers 40 modern rooms and suites with private terraces, living areas, and fully equipped kitchens. Located on a quiet pier in Pak Sha Wan, it provides direct access to secluded beaches, fishing villages, and local seafood pubs. The hotel blends urban chic with modest luxury, making it ideal for intimate celebrations or peaceful retreats in Hong Kong’s “back garden.”

The room’s finishes are starting to look tired and worn. The price gap compared to the WM Hotel is tiny, yet the WM’s rooms are noticeably better. Either the rates need to drop or the rooms should get a refurbishment, and the facilities need clearer explanations.

I loved the uncrowded pool and used it every day. The staff were patient and helpful, answering questions and fixing small issues. The pier nearby kept the area lively with boats, fishing, and morning tai chi. The pictograms on the wall for directions to the reception or weight room were hard to read, and there was no fruit on the breakfast menu.

Honestly, nothing good here. The room was large but filthy. Construction was everywhere—dust, plastic wrap, and a super humid room that left all my stuff wet. The floor was dirty, the air smelled like someone was cooking, the pool was closed under construction, and the restaurant/bar was also under construction.

The beds were comfy and breakfast was nice, though we had to buy cereal separately for our son. The rooftop pool was advertised, but it turned out to be just a pop‑up pool with a construction site around it. Breakfast was served only to adults, not to our 6‑year‑old son who was on the booking. There was no restaurant or bar beyond the breakfast room, the advertising was misleading, and the service was poor. When we tried to switch hotels, no help was offered and we still paid the full price.
