“Passez votre chemin”
The stay was cancelled by the owner five minutes before our arrival, despite a warm welcome and a rainy day with intense rain outside; thank you for this great hassle and the radio silence.

The booking was cancelled at 2 p.m. that same day, supposedly because the apartment regularly has problems; I couldn’t find an alternative, and the host stopped responding, so I still haven’t been refunded or compensated.

The apartment was in a great central spot and larger than expected, giving a cozy feel, but the key was missing from the lockbox upon arrival; the managers were reachable by phone and quickly resolved the issue, so I felt my problem was well handled. However, the apartment is very close to a bar that stays lively until late on weekdays, so I’d recommend earplugs for those needing quiet sleep. The high ceiling and the upper corners, likely hard to reach, had spider webs that hadn’t been cleaned in a long time (no spiders inside). Some surfaces had dust, which might be uncomfortable for those who value cleanliness. Additionally, there were no trash bags or fresh dish sponges, and while hand soap was available, I had to fetch it myself from the cupboard. Overall, hygiene could still use improvement.

The room felt cozy and welcoming, with all the necessary amenities, good lighting, and a convenient spot. Even though it sits on a busy street with lively nightlife, it’s not too noisy at night and you can walk to most famous places in a short time. The only drawback is that you have to climb three flights of stairs, but that’s totally worth it once you reach the top.

Overall, the place was decent and the location was great, though the iron was a surprise addition. Communication with the host broke down before both check‑in and check‑out, and the room was noticeably cold. The kettle was missing, and the apartment was at a different address than expected.
