The reception staff could speak Japanese and resolved issues quickly; the station was close and the lines made it easy to get anywhere, and the dormitory‑style setup with a water server and tea in the lobby was appreciated. However, the shower and toilet were cramped, so each shower left the floor in front of the toilet sticky; the toilet leaked constantly, keeping the floor wet, and the air‑conditioner made loud noises even when it was off, waking me up at night. The mattress was too firm, causing back pain, and a bug‑spray was on the bedside while small insects occasionally appeared, which was unsettling.

The hotel next to the subway station was nice and easy, and it was convenient near Myeongdong, but the beds were not very comfortable and it was easy to hear other people from neighboring rooms.

The location is great for exploring Seoul, with Chungmuru station right outside the door and many cafés for breakfast. Unfortunately, the rooms are very noisy; the reception on the 10th floor offers Oropax for those without them. The bed feels every spring and creaks a lot.

The location is perfect, close to Myeongdong, a convenience store, and the metro, yet quieter than Myeongdong. The beds were sooo uncomfortable haha! Also quite noisy, could literally hear the neighbors snoring all night.
