The proximity to the wedding hall and the view were nice, but I have no idea how they can open such a dirty place for guests.

Being close to Siedlisko Czyżów was good, but the place needs to be ventilated or undergo a full renovation first; the beds creak and the stairs creak.

Choosing accommodation at Pałac w Czyżowie means accepting that it’s a bit of a time‑worn place, but if you’re into historic spots and not chasing luxury, it will meet your needs. Inside everything is clean, the housekeeping ladies are very thorough. The room had a spiderweb, but spiders can get tangled in a night’s work. Rooms are small, in the boazeria. The bathroom has just been renovated, so it’s spotlessly clean. The palace’s interiors are very stylish and capture the atmosphere. The downside is that the beautiful grounds around the palace aren’t maintained; the fantastic pond would be better if it were trimmed. I can confirm the issue with finding the entrance after dark – it’s poorly marked because the property isn’t on the road and is 300 m from the gate, so it’s not lit.

The 18th‑century palace is authentic and the exterior has been nicely restored; the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and the Wi‑Fi signal was strong—especially important because my mobile network (Plus) didn’t reach the area at all. The bathroom worked fine and I was the only guest staying there. On the downside, finding the hotel is tricky despite being visible from the highway; there are no signs and the gate simply reads “private property, no entry,” so I was lucky to meet a local during daylight who pointed me in the right direction. Inside, a strong musty smell hit me right away, which faded after thorough airing, suggesting the rooms need more frequent ventilation. The décor is a matter of taste, but the bed was uncomfortable and creaked loudly with any movement. It’s a pity the rooms lack kettles—though there’s one in the dining area with free coffee and tea, I had to ask the receptionist to fill it, and the microwave required me to request plates and cutlery because everything is locked away. The palace is surrounded by a large park, but there’s no proper seating infrastructure like a gazebo or swing; only a few cheap plastic chairs by the wall and a crumbling old gazebo, though the first‑floor terrace does have a table and two chairs.

The beds creak and there is no mobile coverage.
