Breakfast was good, but in the other main house. I think the bathroom was nice and relatively newly renovated. The problem is that finding a parking spot isn’t easy. The reception is about 60 m further on the same street in another inn, and I couldn’t figure out the TV.

We stayed in a triple room for three nights – it was simple, wooden, warm, spotless, and quiet, with daily towel changes. Free parking was a plus, and the breakfast at the nearby Hotel Hauslwirt was excellent, especially the savory options. Golling is a lovely, quiet town and a solid base for exploring Salzburg; we loved the free public transport tickets that let us hop on a train to Salzburg and a bus to the salt mines.

The place is in a great spot and the staff are nice about putting families together at breakfast. The rooms, however, could use a water bottle and a kettle.
