The room came with a small kitchen and a fairly big bathroom, although the bathroom door tended to stick. Wi‑Fi was a mess – we had to switch it on ourselves – and the mattress was sagging, with towels and linens looking pretty worn. Parking wasn’t clearly marked, and while we were still looking a neighbor started shouting at us. The stairs felt unsafe and the handrail was sticky.

The place lives up to its name – it’s genuinely relaxed and comfortable. The only real problem is the steep, unsafe stairs that lead up to the room, which felt pretty risky.
