Breakfast was very generous. The room was gorgeous with a private onsen and sauna. The bed was huge and super comfy. A truly relaxing spot. The Genji restaurant was great… the tempura was delicious! Too crowded, though.

The bungalows had a very Japanese vibe. Private sauna and pool. Everything was arranged to keep you zen throughout the stay.

Private onsen pool. There were insects in the GF bowl.

The space is beautiful and the villa has all the amenities. The mineral pool and steam room are top quality. The front‑desk staff didn’t fully explain the onsen policy or the strict rules. We were a family with kids, yet we only got adult onsen tickets and no guidance on the restaurant for ordering. The concierge didn’t help with that either.

After Hilton took over, I noticed the service had become steadier and better, with some inconvenient room designs like the power outlet being placed where the TV used to be now fixed, the scenery remained beautiful, the two indoor and outdoor pools were better maintained with no broken tiles, and the water ran smoothly, so I’ll definitely return in winter for the hot mineral baths, which I expect to enjoy even more; the morning buffet was still dull, the staff no longer greeted guests as before, breakfast on the second floor near the mineral baths required climbing stairs that weren’t friendly for someone with joint problems, the elevator wasn’t pointed out until I was already sore from walking, the large, very soft bed was a plus but its extra softness and sagging made it unsuitable for anyone with back issues, the double‑room was made from two singles leaving a noticeable gap in the middle, the welcome cake and cherry‑blossom cookies were bland, and while the Genji restaurant was decent, the overall food and beverage quality needed serious improvement.
