The reception by the residence manager was good. The room was fairly well kept (clearly renovated recently). The room facing the road was a bit noisy.

It’s quite noisy in the morning because it’s close to the road. There’s no place to drink tea or coffee in the accommodation.

The location is right in the center and the rooms are well isolated from noise. There was a lack of a fan during the heatwave.

Very warm welcome – comfortable bed – good breakfast not included in the rent because it’s just a hotel, no restaurant since 3 years – a map of the hotel to put in the car so you don’t have to pay and get fined because of the pay‑by‑disk parking. The Lion d’Or stopped being a hotel‑restaurant in 2023 and is now just a hotel, which is why there’s no breakfast – a lot of mosquitoes in summer because it’s near a pond, no AC but a fan.
