Located in London's heart, the Best Western Plus Delmere Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Paddington Train Station and the Heathrow Express. Oxford Street's shopping district is less than a mile away, and Hyde Park is a 7-minute stroll. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with rain showers, media streaming, Smart TVs, and touch-controlled lighting, plus free WiFi. The location was great—just a 5‑minute walk to Paddington Station—and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms and bathroom were small and had no wardrobe, which is normal in London. The breakfast buffet was excellent and everything was available; we liked being able to make tea and coffee in the room. The staff were very friendly. The only issue was that the card reader for payments didn’t work with a normal Visa or MasterCard, while all other terminals in London accepted them.

The location was perfect, the rooms were clean and newly renovated, the breakfast was ample (very good for British standards), the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the atmosphere felt very personal, and it’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. The only complaint: the air‑conditioning was hard to control and blew directly onto the bed.

The breakfast was excellent and varied, the location was superb—everything was within walking distance or reachable by subway or train—and the area is beautiful.

The location was top, but the shower overflowed every time; we reported it several times and nothing was done. Service and friendliness were also not great.
