“Luxury hotel but could be better”

The staff were very friendly and polite, and the hotel itself was luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable. The large swimming pool was lovely, and our room faced the pool with a balcony. The dining area offered a good variety of foods, and Abdul, the dining hall supervisor, was very helpful and efficient. There was plenty of parking. My room was hot because the air‑con unit barely worked, so I slept with the balcony door open. The duvet cover had a lot of loose hairs, but with the heat it wasn’t a problem. One of the aluminum chairs on the balcony was broken and missing a slat.

“Enjoyable stay, slightly too expensive.”

I’ve known this hotel for years, even before it changed its name; it’s huge, comfy, and the staff are friendly with all the usual facilities. It’s just outside Erfoud, which makes for calm nights. I appreciated the welcome snacks, fruit, and free bottled water. On the downside, some areas are aging—especially the bathroom, where the shower struggled to keep a steady temperature. The hotel feels great when full, but on quiet nights it feels like an empty airport lounge. Still, I’d recommend it, though it’s a bit pricey compared to other regional options.

“We had few complaints and overall enjoyed our stay”

My stay at this hotel was a memorable one, thanks to the exceptional service from all the staff. The hotel itself is a magnificent piece of history, with spacious rooms that evoke a bygone era, although it could benefit from a bit of modernization. While it felt like stepping back in time, which was a bit chilly during winter, it didn't detract from the hotel's unique historical charm. Overall, it was an unforgettable two-night stay.
