I had a wonderful stay at Alaika Guesthouse on Maafushi Island! The overall experience was fantastic, and the place itself is very comfortable and well-located.The staff here are amazing. I want to give a special shout-out to Rakib, who was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Also, a big thank you to SAKIB for the delicious breakfasts every morning! The food was great, and he is such a kind person.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Maafushi!

“Horrible”

The only redeeming point was that the sheets were clean and there was air conditioning. Once I booked, no one ever responded to my messages. It’s badly located, next to a prison. The photos don’t match reality, the bathroom mirror is broken, the bathroom lacks a shower curtain, there was a guy who was friendly for almost 24 hours but the receptionist was very rude and didn’t inspire confidence. In the two nights we stayed, no one came to change the towels. In short: bad location, lack of cleanliness, unprofessional staff, rude receptionist, horrible value. I don’t recommend it.
