The resort near Sasayama was excellent. The dinner and breakfast were the best on our entire Japan trip. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the public bath was relaxing.

Being right next to Kawaramachi and close to a bus stop gave the hotel an unbeatable location. The staff seemed to be locals, but they didn’t know much about tourist information.
