The hotel was very pleasant with a pool, the breakfast was truly luxurious, everything was clean and very nice, but a kettle for tea or coffee would have been a welcome addition to the room.

The hotel sits beautifully in the Glottertal, the sprawling complex is well organized and overall pleasant; our room matched the booked category, spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food and the selection of wines were both very good, and the wellness area largely met our expectations. What disappointed us most was the service and how guests were addressed; we often felt that little time was given to us. We expected a more attentive and warm hospitality from a four‑star hotel. The breakfast buffet also fell short—bread and rolls were limited, dark bread was missing, and there were no savory spreads as an alternative to sausage. The egg dish could only be freshly ordered on the second day by chance at a side table; a proper notice would have helped. In the wellness area there were no places to store glasses in the sauna, and the supplied drinking water was not refilled. The pool felt uninviting and poorly maintained. The thick carpet in the room is outdated. The restaurant offers good food but is priced on the higher side; given the inconsistent service, we found the value for money less convincing.
