The TV stopped working, and the front‑desk staff seemed clueless. When I arrived at 4:30 pm, my room wasn’t ready, so I had to pay extra to move to a different room.

The room was a bit cramped but nicely furnished, and the beds were comfortable. The location was convenient, with plenty of shops and amenities within walking distance. Avoid Room 118 because it’s right next to the communal laundry; otherwise, there’s nothing to complain about.

It’s a budget option just 40 minutes from LA, set in a pretty area near Pasadena with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. Staying here for more nights in LA is an affordable and genuinely positive choice. The only downside is that LA traffic forces you to leave early in the morning to reach different parts of the city, but it’s manageable.

There’s nothing special to highlight, maybe the location is decent. I booked a queen‑bed room but received a full bed instead, and even after showing them my reservation, they didn’t switch it back. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and trash.
