Beautiful location with perfect hosts. Highly recommended

The place is comfortable and quiet on a farm next to a river, and the apartment inside is very beautiful with great music and no disturbances. It’s near a village with restaurants, a supermarket, and a coffee shop that you can walk to. The host is kind and very courteous. The river beside the accommodation is lovely, but when you sit next to it, sewage smells rise, and I wish there were a direct vent from the room. Also, the abandoned house next to the accommodation needs renovation or removal because it’s a visual nuisance.

“Great!”

Perfect quiet and comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Great bathroom. Great location. Nothing else. The room was exactly what we needed. Prospective guests would benefit from a clear statement about what is included and what isn’t. No breakfast, but all the self‑catering facilities we required (we brought our own breakfast). It was hard to find this out beforehand, especially since old reviews still describe arrangements that are now outdated.

“Lovely peaceful location”

This is a hidden gem. The self‑catering studio is extremely comfortable. The setting, part of a Victorian mansion in a secluded spot beside the River Esk, feels like home. We will definitely stay here again. Nothing else.
