“Its a room in a house, not a hotel!”
I thought it was a hotel, but it’s actually a room in a house shared with others. It was hot for us because we didn’t set the air‑conditioning correctly. There is a nice bathroom and a mini kitchen area. The locks are all codes and an app for the front door, which is fine if that works for you. The other people in the house were nice. It’s small. There’s a pull‑out futon in the chair, but we didn’t really know about it. There’s a third bed. We were without a car for our stay, and had some late‑night plans with dinner with friends, etc. I know parts of New Haven are safe and parts are not as safe, and I was not sure which it is. But when we asked, “is this a safe neighborhood,” they got mad at me and said, “what is your problem?” Besides that, the guy who welcomed us was really helpful and made things work! :) We walked around at night; it’s an okay neighborhood, a little dicey for me.
