I keep coming back to Hotel Behrmann whenever I head to Hamburg – I can’t picture staying elsewhere. The location is great, the staff are friendly, the room is spacious, and the breakfast is generous, all at a very reasonable price. The only thing that could have been better is that the stay was just one night.

Everything was almost perfect. Twice the room wasn’t ready – the bed and bathroom were still being set up.

The rooms are always clean, but the mattresses are sagging. Breakfast is always “small but fine,” providing everything needed and superb rolls. Walking distance to the U‑bahn is convenient.

The reception was unfriendly, and dust from the bathroom vent drifted onto hair and clothes. The breakfast was bland, the fruit moldy, and the selection was limited.
