We had a lovely time at this place. Our room was very spacious and beautiful. The bathroom was clean and we could enjoy the beautiful view of the river from our balcony and the terrace. There was also a very big living room that we could use freely! Our host Wasala was super kind and always around to help. He offered to drive us around in his tuktuk and showed us the city. He also picked us up from the bus stand when we arrived. He made us feel welcome from the very first moment! We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast made by his sister, which you can order if you want 😋☺️ We had a great time with you Wasa! You are such a fun person to be around with 😊🫶🏼 Thank you for everything!!

We found this spot to be the best place we've visited in Sri Lanka. The host was genuinely kind, and the breakfast was fantastic. It's a short distance from town, and renting a scooter from the property made getting around a breeze. When we needed to head to Ella and couldn't catch a pickme tuk-tuk, the host drove us all the way to the bus stop without charging us—just to help us out. A huge thank you!

The beds were comfortable, and the young man running the place is absolutely incredible—he will do anything to help and make your stay more enjoyable. I would 100 percent stay there again; it's a very peaceful place. Nothing else to add.

The balcony view alone makes it worth staying, with mornings so quiet and beautiful that you feel like you're in heaven. The host is the most amazing person I've met in Sri Lanka. The location is a drawback; it's quite far from the city by car and by tuk-tuk, and while there's a shortcut for walking, it’s dark in the late evenings. The room was good but small, lacking a shelf or wardrobe—though the host offered to provide one, so it's not a big deal. There's no air conditioner, just a fan, and opening the door for fresh air can bring in some mosquitoes 😃
