Hospital was great. The reception team is more an experience. SARAH made it home to me. She is just one woman for the hospitality job. Every serious hotelier needs a SARAH. Shawn @ the bar, another great personality. I love this TEAM. Blinded to see none. Amazing place

The central location, bar, and surrounding area are pleasant. However, the room felt clinical and lacked homeliness, falling below the usual Leonardo standard. Breakfast was average and didn’t meet Leonardo’s usual quality. As a frequent Leonardo guest, I found this stay below expectations. Parking required an extra £17.50 at the local NCP.

The hotel’s close location to Croydon East train station makes access to Gatwick and London city centre very convenient. I’ve stayed at several Leonardo hotels before, so I expected a solid standard, and the comfortable beds and good facilities, like the bar and restaurant, delivered. The complimentary fruit jellies were a tasty touch. The bathroom was well stocked with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Prices at the bar were reasonable and the staff were friendly. As a solo female traveler, I felt Croydon itself can feel a bit “edgy” and had to be cautious walking back from the station later in the evening, though I didn’t encounter anything that raised concern.
