I’ve returned to this hotel for a second time and was again greeted by very friendly staff, and the breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was plentiful and the location central, so walking to all sights was easy and stress‑free. The small city lake nearby is especially nice for a break. On the day of departure we could even leave our luggage there because we still wanted to see more and didn’t leave Stendal that morning. In summer the rooms get very warm, and with the windows open you hear train and car traffic; people who are sensitive might ask for a room on the courtyard side on the first floor, but for one night it was fine.

I loved how close the hotel was to the railway station, making overnight travel a breeze. The staff were friendly and provided great service, even in the restaurant. The room was decent.
