The owner was absolutely lovely and accommodating, the place was clean and comfortable, and it was on a charming farm with friendly animals.

The accommodation was nice and clean. Nothing else stood out; the owners weren’t met in person but were very helpful via email. Note that the self‑catering area had limited washing‑up facilities.

I found the place charming and snug, ideal for exploring the area, with every little detail covered—fresh milk and decent shower gel really stood out. The room’s oven, fridge, and microwave were a lifesaver, especially for a chilled drink at night. I stayed during the hottest day of the summer, but I’ll come back in winter to enjoy the cozy log burner.

The stay felt very homely, with all the essentials like milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, and sugar provided; the pigs outside added to the pleasant atmosphere.

The barn conversion was adorable, and I didn’t worry about anything because all cutlery, crockery, utensils, soaps, towels, cleaning supplies, toilet roll, and milk were supplied. The outdoor kitchen was well maintained and handy. Sarah respected our privacy yet was ready to help with extra touches that made the stay perfect—thanks. The animals were a big draw, especially the two friendly pigs who seemed to think everyone had food for them.
