Unfortunately a mosquito kept me awake all night. There were no mosquito nets, neither on the windows nor over the bed.

From the first moment we felt very comfortable and welcome on the farm. The hosts were exceptionally warm and hospitable—almost family‑like (the generous Jägermeister definitely helped :D)—yet never intrusive. Questions about local excursions were answered gladly and competently. The farm is an excellent base for trips to the Erongo Mountains; the location is ideal for exploring the impressive landscape and surroundings. The proximity to African wildlife was especially beautiful. There was always something to watch, especially during feeding times—an actual experience! Breakfast and dinner were very tasty, and our requests were happily accommodated. A culinary highlight for us was the outstanding grilled Oryx antelope. A few mosquitoes in the room are unavoidable in Namibia, but each room had both body and insect spray available. Overall, a wonderful, heartfelt stay with great hosts—we would come back anytime!
