赤科山櫻之谷咖啡民宿

The place is clean and tidy, and they run a small coffee shop that’s well maintained. Nearby, there’s a field of golden needle flowers that look beautiful during the blooming season. Because it’s an old building, the equipment feels a bit dated and the soundproofing is poor, so the rooms are on the smaller side. After 10 pm, a child in the neighboring room would shout and play in the courtyard, which was a bit disruptive, but that’s just local village life—reminds me of visiting my grandma’s house when I was young.

“舒適但不適合徒步賞花的遊客，衛生待加強。”

The bed is comfortable, though a bit small for two people. Breakfast is plentiful. Two adorable dogs and their owner are friendly and considerate. Hygiene could be better; a cockroach flew into the bathroom at midnight. The biggest issue is that the golden needle flower field is far away; we took a taxi up the mountain for a hike, thinking it would be close, but it took almost an hour to reach the flowers. We spent 3–4 hours hiking and photographing the entire Xikou Mountain, so if you book here, you’ll need a car.
