“A well-located hotel close to Istanbul's historical attractions, but the room could be brighter and more comfortable”

The location was great, within walking distance of many historical attractions; breakfast was good, and the bed linen and towels were changed every other day, which was appreciated; however, the room was quite dark and lacked basic amenities such as a small table and a kettle for tea or a comfortable sitting area, and the bed itself was not in very good condition; breakfast was good but the choice of dishes was limited.

“Istanbul pour pas cher !”

The location is really exceptional, right by the tram, next to Sultanahmet, next to everything! Our room faced a very noisy street, and there was noise all night long; the breakfast was not exceptional either.

“Hotel Burkin Istanbul”

The location is great, the staff were very friendly, the food was good, and the rooftop terrace was pretty. I recommend it.

The hotel is close to the historic centre and the T1 tram. We chose it for that proximity and a 50 % discount on the usual rate, but it turned out to be a real mistake. The place is very dark, as if trying to hide its overall condition. The room was cramped, the bedside lamp had no bulb, and lighting was poor throughout the hotel. Big construction work was happening in the stairwell, forcing us to use the elevator and wait a long time. The constant drilling noise severely ruined the stay. Moreover, the restaurant and kitchen are on the terrace, while the dining room is on the ground floor, so dishes and food were transported unprotected between the seventh floor and the ground floor in the elevator, amid guests and luggage. That setup seemed unhygienic and very unpleasant. The staff stayed very withdrawn and offered no help. Finally, breakfast was extremely basic, with yesterday’s bread. In short, a very disappointing experience that does not match the advertised promotion.

“Decepcionante.”

Solo la ubicación. Te engañan con las fotos. Arrende una habitación con balcón qué se ve espectacular en las fotos y en realidad es una habitación de 6 por 6 metros, con la cama pegada a la pared del baño, el balcón es pequeñisimo. La terraza también te muestra todo bonito y la verdad es que esta bien a mal traer. El desayuno fue lo peor, ni siquiera huevos revueltos, el café estaba aguachento todos los días y no reponian mucho. Por el mismo valor me aloje en Goreme, Capadocia, en un hotel espectacular
