A large swimming pool, children's wading pool, and cafe serving meals and drinks are available. The resort is a 5-minute walk from Horseshoe Bay, minutes' drive from a boat ramp and Bowen Golf Club, and 10 minutes from Bowen Town Centre.

The place and location are great; this was our third stay in 26 years.

I liked the spot, but when we tried to grill we found no barbecue in the main area; we eventually spotted one tucked behind the caravan section.

The spa was cold, the beds were hard, the rooms looked outdated, and there was nothing to eat for dinner – overall a letdown.
