“Super parenthèse”

Maylis welcomed us with a smile in her little earthly paradise that lets you escape the everyday. We were lulled by the cows’ bells, saw an owl, and watched a starry sky at night free from artificial light, all while enjoying a view of the real Basque Country—exactly what we wanted. Maylis gave great advice, was easy to reach, and was very flexible with arrival and departure times. She also lent us sheets when we’d forgotten them. The facilities were clean, no complaints. The only downside was that the twin beds in the small tent were noisy; every time we turned in bed we could hear it, whether it was the mattress, the frame, the bedding, or something else.

The view was stunning, the corner was peaceful, and there was plenty of space between the tents. It felt like a little natural oasis in the middle of a village, very relaxing. Watching the mountain blush at dusk from the veranda, lying on the bench… pure bliss!
