Located in a tropical garden beside the lagoon, Hôtel Fenua Mata'i'oa features a bar, on-site restaurant, and outdoor hot tub. Guests can relax on sun lounges overlooking Moorea's clear blue waters, with access to snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing, diving, and canoeing. Luxurious suites offer designer decor, flat-screen TVs, and private patios. The hotel is 25 minutes from Moorea Airport and 30 minutes from Moorea Ferry Terminal.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, and the view is fantastic. The friendly cat is adorable! The only thing I would suggest is keeping the bar open later; it’s a shame you can’t get a drink after dinner despite the stunning outside and lounge area.

Everything in the room and the hotel was exceptional—from the décor to the service and the bedding—nothing to criticize. I can only recommend it!

This hotel is simply extraordinary. Inside a serene garden by the lagoon, it feels both rustic and elegant. The staff and owner are wonderful, paying attention to detail everywhere. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms have everything you need. A well-stocked minimarket is nearby, and there are restaurants for lunch and dinner within walking distance, plus many more around the north of the island that offer free or affordable transfers. Renting a car or motorbike is recommended, but not essential. Thank you, Eileen and all the staff, for a magical week. We just wish we had stayed longer.
