The dinner was outstanding, one of the best meals I've had in Japan if you enjoy seafood, and the outdoor onsen under the stars was delightful. However, reaching the place from Usuki was harder than I thought; the bus routes were confusing, so I returned to the Usuki Train Terminal and caught a taxi from the station when it arrived.

The outdoor hot spring was a plus, but I couldn't use it in the morning because it wasn't open then.

I was satisfied with the food and the room, but the early‑morning bath times were too late, so both this stay and the previous one I couldn't use the bath after breakfast before heading out. I wish the morning bath times were earlier.
