Only the location is good. Unfortunately the hotel is old and needs renovation; there are no services, the bathrooms are bad, the rooms are poor and aged, the ground‑floor balcony is cramped, the restaurants are tiny with no variety, and everything is very expensive for the level of food. I arrived early but had to wait 5 hours to receive the room. Water was available only on the first day; for the rest I had to pay. All hotels worldwide have free water, and when I asked, the answer was “this is the management policy.” Staff need more training in communication and client handling. Guests leave dissatisfied.

“Simpel, licht verouderd, schoon en lekkere bedden”

The hotel was on the boulevard, tidy, and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were dated and clearly needed upkeep, and the breakfast was fine but there were too few bowls, plates, and cutlery, so I had to keep asking for more.

The spot was ideal, close to the beach and all conveniences, and I liked being able to exercise nearby—this was a key reason for choosing it. A few things could be better: I noticed odors in the rooms, halls, and elevator; a pleasant scent would help. Cleaning was generally fine but could be deeper, especially in corners, on windows, and on the floor. I also ran into small bathroom issues—a clogged shower and a leaking showerhead—that might have been spotted during cleaning. The staff were friendly, but I would have appreciated a bit more attention at checkout, like a quick question about my stay. Small details that make a difference in a four‑star hotel. The room was poorly insulated, so I heard a lot of noise from other rooms and corridors.

“Wir hätten lieber ein anderes günstigeres Hotel nehmen sollen”

The location was decent, but the breakfast was already depleted after an hour. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not particularly friendly at breakfast. The room and the hotel overall felt very worn down, which is disappointing for a four‑star property.
