“I very comfortable, peaceful stay with scenic views!”

The spot is right next to a huge ASDA Supermarket, just a 5‑minute walk, and the area feels quiet and safe. I appreciated how roomy the room was, the large table and chair, and the fact that there are three toilets. With only two rooms per floor across three floors, the silence is perfect. The roof access is a bonus, offering amazing views and it comes with a table and chairs, which I absolutely loved! The downside was that the Wi‑Fi was too slow, and the stove didn’t heat up properly.

“I strongly advise against staying here. It does not meet basic health and safety standards. It’s disgusting.”

I would strongly advise against staying at this property. On arrival, the accommodation was in a very poor and unacceptable condition, clearly not cleaned properly between guests. Stains covered all furnishings, walls were dirty and marked, thick dust and debris were everywhere, and rubbish— even under the bed—was left behind. The bathroom had mould, grime, and discarded items from previous occupants. The bedding was ripped and stank. Safety concerns were evident: the glass in the front door was cracked and not repaired, and electrical items blocked the hallway on the upper floor, which seemed to be the only exit route in case of fire or emergency. It did not feel safe. I arrived late due to travel disruption and couldn’t fully assess the property immediately, but once the extent of the issues became clear it was obvious that the accommodation was not fit to stay in. I stayed only out of necessity and would not have stayed otherwise. I left early because it was so disgusting. This property does not meet basic standards of cleanliness or safety, and it does not reflect what would reasonably be expected from accommodation listed. I would not recommend staying here.

The bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was nice for cooking food. There was no TV.
