We enjoyed the private parking, the garden, the very kind and helpful staff, the à‑la‑carte breakfast, and the option to grab occasional snacks when we were hungry.

“Quaint and Charming 15th Century Hotel”

We appreciated the historic feel of the whole hotel, the cozy common rooms, and the garden seating. The rooms themselves had been refreshed and modernized. However, for three consecutive nights the air conditioning failed, leaving the room uncomfortably hot; we reported it to reception, who assured us it would be fixed, but it wasn’t. Also, there’s no restaurant on site, only breakfast and a bar.

“An oasis in an excellent old world hotel!”

The hotel felt like a quiet sanctuary amid the bustling town of Santanilla Del Mar. Walking through the classic front door into the grand setting was a pleasure, and the garden added a nice touch. It would have been better if the cafeteria offered more variety.
