Red Roof Inn Atlanta - Suwanee/Mall of Georgia

“Run away from this place buyer beware”

They barged into our room after we’d already paid, claiming someone had checked out in our name and kept our deposit. They said the linens were dirty, yet when we left the same linens were still dirty. The place had roaches and I developed a rash from the bed. The staff were rude, the manager kept the deposit in an unsafe spot, and the cleaning lady spoke no English. She would come into the room at any hour, making loud noise from 7 AM to about 5 PM while fixing things. The neighborhood felt unsafe, and people were constantly arguing. Don’t stay here.

“Room was nasty”

The only thing I liked was how close it was to where my son had his surgery. The rooms were disgusting.

“Horrible”

I didn’t. The room had bed bugs, and my partner got bites, so I had to bring her.

“Wasn't like I expected”

The bed was comfy and they allow pets. However, parts of the room had scratched paint, there was a cigarette burn on my husband’s comforter, and the place was non‑smoking even though neither of us smokes.

People, if you can spare a few extra dollars, choose another spot. I’m not sure how they passed inspection. The moment I entered the room, the smell of dried pee and mold hit me. The floor was awful, the bath area full of mold and rust, and the wall with the broken AC unit was so rotten you could jiggle it. The sheets smelled like mold and pee and were full of stains. I was terrified to even take off my sandals. I stayed only because it was the only pet‑friendly motel near my destination and it was too late to move my dogs elsewhere. I almost slept in my car. I travel a lot and have stayed in many hotels and motels; this is by far the worst experience. The smell will linger in my nose forever. All those 5‑star reviews on their site are definitely fake; no sane person would give this place anything more than a 0. The pictures on their website look nothing like the actual place.
