The value for money is spot on, it’s completely quiet, and the bus stop and S‑bahn are just around the corner with a kettle in the room.

Check‑in was friendly and informative, the place was spotless, the bus link was good, and the room had a kettle and coffee/tea plus a lovely warm shower; however, guests arriving late at night are clearly audible, the room is very drafty, and it’s a shame not everyone is considerate.

The price was great for the spot, right next to the S1 train and in a quiet part of Hamburg near Altona, so if you want a break from the busy central station this place works. The surroundings were clean and everything I needed was available, so I’d definitely recommend it. The Wi‑Fi sometimes drops, especially in the afternoon, and the pillow is very soft—hard‑pillow lovers like me might find it hard to adjust. Other than that, it’s a solid stay.
