“7 dias inesquecíveis, e o que fez a diferença foram as pessoas”
We spent 7 days at Iberostar Selection Praia do Forte celebrating our wedding anniversary and left already wanting to come back. The resort is beautiful. The room was very comfortable, the pools excellent for both lively and quiet guests, and the beach was great. The self‑serve restaurants are good, but the themed ones stand out: the atmosphere is well built and really transports you to another setting. Still, what impressed us most was the staff. Every day we had more positive experiences than the last. Special shout‑out to Wadalis, our concierge for the whole stay. He handled restaurant reservations, gave great tour suggestions, and was always aware of how our experience was and what could improve. Plus he’s a very nice person and a source of many laughs in our conversations. At the bar team, it was a pleasure to be served by Luiz (the best drinks in the resort!), José Ivan, our “Zé Delivery,” João Gabriel, always attentive and efficient, and Alana, who always had a smile. The super special experience was in the kitchen. I’m allergic to shrimp and saw the moqueca they were preparing at the kiosk. It looked gorgeous, mouth‑watering. I mentioned it to Sandra and Chef Luiz, explained the allergy, and said I was craving it. They went straight to the kitchen and made a moqueca with full broth just for me, with no risk of contamination. It was the best Bahian moqueca I’ve ever had. And because it was our wedding anniversary, they turned it into a special lunch. I can’t forget Eline, who had a very pleasant welcome conversation at check‑in and, in a light way, gathered information to prepare a surprise celebration for our anniversary in our room. Many hotels have good facilities, but genuine attention to the guest is what makes the difference, and that’s what the Iberostar Praia do Forte team delivers. We could have had more bathrooms near the pools and bars.
