“Great location, comfortable room, only spoiled by breakfast”

The location was excellent, close to Earl's Court tube station and several major museums. The toiletries in the room were good and the dressing gown was appreciated. Breakfast could have been better, and the food was cold on the second day because the heaters weren’t switched on. Service at breakfast was spasmodic.

“Very clean, great location and great breakfast.”

The location was great, the room was comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was lovely. It should be made clearer that the hotel does not offer dinner at the present time. I was a lone traveller and thought it would be useful to stay somewhere that offered dinner. I went down for dinner only to be told that, due to staff shortages, the restaurant was not open in the evenings. If I had known, I would have made arrangements to eat out earlier in the day.

“The Rockwell is in a good location close to two stations, with plenty of leafy streets nearby.”

I thought it was great for our needs – close to two tube stations and in a leafy part of South Kensington, not too far from the V&A on foot. The room and ensuite were good – and definitely quite quiet since we were at the back of the hotel. We really liked the generous wardrobe storage area, which was super useful. The room was narrow and long, so the bed had to be against a wall, which is never ideal. We never got the a/c to work, but that’s probably just us! The TV screen was very small, but since we were out at night that wasn’t an issue.
