Hôtel Mercure Thionville Centre Porte du Luxembourg

“Asistir a una boda”

The location was perfect for getting around.

Close to the center, but the breakfast was basic and sad, and the value for money needs rethinking.

“Sehr angenehmes Hotel”

The location and breakfast were good, but there were no private parking spaces.

“N'est pas à la hauteur d'un Mercure, chaine que j'apprécie par ailleurs.”

The establishment is perfectly located and remains quiet despite a noisy environment, and the staff are helpful and smiling. However, the arrival sidewalk in front of the hotel isn’t clean, letting debris into the lobby. The bathroom sink in the room was clogged and drained poorly. The breakfast’s value for money is off. The bathroom paint is peeling, and the decor in the lobby, corridors, and breakfast area, trying to look modern, feels grim.

“het was een nachtje een bed.”

In the bathroom, a shower cap was missing, the shower didn’t run, you were in your own water… and possibly from what was still in the drain from others, brrrr. The bathroom door of our room 301 wouldn’t close, it was loose, and it squeaked. There were many large stains on the carpet. We tried to remove them. The breakfast was mediocre. The coffee makers didn’t work; I was served really dirty coffee. The scrambled eggs were watery and there were no sausage bits, just greasy sausages.
