The location is fairly good. Narvarte is a nice and safe neighborhood, and the rental sits between two metro stations and near metrobus line 3, so it’s well connected to the Mexico City network. There are many shops and cafés within walking distance, which is convenient. The bed in the room was extremely uncomfortable; it isn’t about the mattress being too hard or soft for my taste, the mattress is simply old (or really bad quality, or both). It sags visibly, and one side sags more than the other. On weekdays, there is a lot of noise (traffic and car horns) from the street since 7 am. On top of that, there is significant noise from airplanes flying above throughout the day and part of the night. It is generally very loud, and with the poor quality of the mattress, it makes restful sleep impossible. The host is flippant if not downright rude. I requested an additional set of keys (we were two guests), since you cannot exit the property without keys, which is both very inconvenient and a safety issue in a quake‑prone zone (I would expect properties listed on booking to satisfy minimal safety standards). The host refused and was generally rude and unhelpful, claiming there was no one at the property at the moment and that it was against “company policy” to give a second set of keys. I had to contact directly to voice my concern. As soon as I did, the host reached out and told me there was in fact someone at the property and I could get a second set immediately, contrary to what they told us 10 minutes prior. The whole interaction seemed unnecessarily complicated and unpleasant.

I went to a concert at La Maraka; the area is busy and safe, within walking distance, and the metro is just two streets away, making the price for the location excellent. However, the deep cleaning and bathroom left a lot of dust on the rugs and armchair—I'm allergic to dust—and the bathroom is too close to the wall, so I couldn't sit comfortably on the toilet.

The room is very clean, and the size and details are good. I felt a bit uneasy about security because no one is on duty; I didn't know if an emergency could be handled from the floor below. I would suggest adding a coffee maker, napkins, coffee, or a microwave.
