“A club to sleep in Kosziosko. Maybe good for group travel, not so much for an individual.”

It offers reasonable value for the location in the mountains and is functional. However, you think you book a hotel but end up with some kind of club; arrival was unclear about where to park and which room you were in. There is no reception, it sits on the edge of town, everything feels a bit basic, and there isn’t even a cup in the bathroom to drink tap water from.

“Extremely disappointing and completely overpriced for what was offered.”

The location is fine, but the room was extremely disappointing and felt like it belonged in the 1990s. There was no air conditioning, only a single portable heater that was completely inadequate. Apart from two small bars of soap, there was no shampoo or shower gel. The furniture looked decades old and clearly hasn’t been updated in a very long time. The worst part was the complete lack of soundproofing: we could hear people walking upstairs, toilets flushing, coughing, and even someone sniffling. It was honestly unbearable. For $380 per night, this is simply unacceptable.

This type of property where lodge members try to make non‑members feel welcome is simply not for my family. The room was very basic and cold. We were disappointed that there was no snow that weekend (obviously not the lodge’s fault) but because our room was so uncosy and chilly, there was nothing for us to do. We left the next day because it was depressing staying in the room.
