The room was tidy, yet there was no elevator for luggage, the exterior needed upkeep, the stair tread was stapled with hanging edges, it required painting, and the back open hallway was uneven and possibly not fully attached to the building.

The spot is close to Redwood National Parks, but there was no breakfast offered.

The place had a good location, reasonable price, and a decent view of the bay, plus updated flooring and bathroom countertops. It was a typical motel room—nothing fancy, just what it is, but it was clean and the staff were friendly.

We expected breakfast to be included, but it wasn’t. The staff were friendly and the lobby coffee was good.

The location was excellent, front desk service was outstanding, rooms were very nice for the price, the inn was dog‑friendly with a reasonable nightly fee, and we highly recommend staying here again if we return to CC.
