We had to leave a day early! The entrance is on a neglected side street, and parking there made me worry about the car’s safety. The bathroom in the room smelled like sewage, and there were small stones on the floor that occasionally fell from the ceiling. The hotel’s restaurant only operates for breakfast; for dinner, lunch, or anything else you must order take‑out through a site the hotel provides. We ordered dinner and it arrived 2½ hours later, completely cold. I complained to the staff, and they said it wasn’t their fault, which makes me wonder why they offer that service in their rooms. Cleaning didn’t happen, or at least towels weren’t replaced. The only positive note is that the staff were young, smiling guys who helped us with our luggage.

“색다른 경험과 훌륭한 경관을 즐길 수 있다”

A quiet, pretty spot high above Ortahisar, Azur Cave feels like a cavern and is surprisingly spacious. Dim lighting adds to the vibe, and a terrace right outside the room lets you watch balloons and the whole of Cappadocia from your window. Two bathtubs let you soak while watching TV, and Wi‑Fi is available—something you don’t find in Istanbul’s 5‑star hotels. The staff were very friendly, arranged a pickup to Kayseri Airport, and took great care of us. As a honeymoon couple, they surprised us with heart‑shaped balloons, wine, and fruit. The Green Tour shuttle can get to the hotel without any trouble. Ortahisar is less commercial than Göreme, has a village feel, the castle, and great views, so book here if you want that atmosphere.

“Magique !”

The rooms were stunning, with a magnificent terrace. The showers were disappointing: sometimes the water was lukewarm or even cold, and one of the two showers didn’t work at all.
