Everything! Cleanliness, room size, breakfast, the ladies’ friendliness and professionalism – all superb! The location is very central but still peaceful. The only downside is the lack of a gym.

Set in the heart of Mondim de Basto village, Mondim AL & Spa offers accommodation range from apartments to double and twin rooms. All have free WiFi access and a private bathroom. Vila Real city is 36 km, and Guimarães is a 45-minute drive from Mondim de Basto. Alvão Natural Park, with the biggest waterfalls in Europe, is a 15-minute drive from Mondim AL & Spa.

Breakfast is fine, the location is the best. The only issue is that the name mentions a SPA.
